Trinity Health Training Coordinator - Medical Group in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Description:

This position will provide all new hire education, re-education and additional education to current colleagues, and will round in all office when and where needed.

Must be a certified EPIC trainer

Organizes and coordinates training and educational programs.

* Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information.

* Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of growth and development.

* Identifies staff development needs, assists and trains employees accordingly.

* Assists employees with additional individual training as identified by management

* Maintains competencies in all areas of HCMG Information Technology (IT) at a level appropriate to non-clinical staff

  • Responsible for IT training to HCMG associates as required, including

E-mail, time keeping, appointment scheduling, electronic health record, online education, billing, etc.

* Responsible for requesting/obtaining IT log in codes for the entire medical group.

Provides initial orientation to all new employees.

* Provides orientation to all new employees as required. This may include time spent in remote office locations.

* Monitors completion of orientation process, necessary forms and requirements (i.e., CPR,

employee enrichment, etc.).

* Contacts management of new employee periodically to determine whether additional

training is required.

Maintains knowledge and communicates learning center tools and resources available to associates.

* Coordinates education programs as needed for HCMG associates.

* Evaluates programs routinely and identifies areas requiring training adjustments. Attends

training seminars.

* In conjunction with Operations Directors, organizes in-service programs as needed,

educating associates of TJC guidelines, clinical and non-clinical, etc.

Development, training and assessment of clinical skills or qualifications.

  • In conjunction with management and HCH resources, ensures all staff have documented competency levels appropriate to their training and position

  • Periodically assesses the training needs of all HCMG non-provider staff

  • Develops an HCMG Annual Training Plan. Presents the Plan to HCMG leadership

Interacts in a professional manner with all members of the HCMG offices.

* Interacts/relates in a constructive manner with physicians, management and hospital associates.

* Attends meetings as requested by management.

* Keeps abreast of changes in policies/procedures and laws and regulations. Updates policies as required.

Displays knowledge of problem-solving skills and is able to coordinate work area activities.

* Communicates to Operations Directors/staff new ideas and suggestions that would help facilitate smooth operations within the department.

Adheres and conforms to all government regulations, legal issues/aspects, OSHA requirements and TJC standards.

* Works with lab supervisor to maintain the Laboratory Policy and Procedure manual.

* Oversees that the office abides by OSHA rules and regulations.

* Oversees that all divisions are oriented and trained in TJC standards.

Performs any other job-related duties as assigned and/or requested by management.

* Accepts additional duties/tasks in a positive manner.
