Robert Half Senior Information Security Analyst in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Information Security Analyst to support asset owners in understanding and addressing noncompliance to security standards. You will be responsible for documenting findings, guiding asset owners through remediation plans, and interpreting security assessments to identify potential risks. Strong communication and documentation skills are key for this role, as you will educate asset owners on quality requirements and help them through security assessments and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Discuss noncompliance to security standards with asset owners and document the results.
Support asset owners in understanding the steps needed to document remediation plans or exceptions in the system of record.
Generate and interpret reporting on open findings, plans, and exceptions to identify potential security breaches.
Identify and communicate associated risks and business impacts of noncompliance.
Educate asset owners on quality requirements to ensure detailed responses to findings.
Guide asset owners through assessment questionnaires to understand the inherent risks of assets.
Work with asset owners to complete control assessments against required security controls.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Business Analysis, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in information security, compliance, or audit roles, with a focus on documenting and interpreting findings.
Strong communication and documentation skills to interact with asset owners and explain security findings.
Experience guiding asset owners through remediation plans and security assessments.
Ability to speak to security risks and their potential business impacts.
Familiarity with control assessments and security standards.
Ability to follow defined processes and quality criteria to ensure accurate documentation.
Experience with security assessments, audits, and compliance processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to generate comprehensive security reports.
Ability to work cross-functionally with business teams to address security risks and compliance issues.
