Full Time Overnight Technician
Floor stock medications are refilled and appropriate patient charged
Pyxis training is completed with proper knowledge in stocking machines, reviewing reports, and handling nursing concerns.
Restocks, programs and trains others in automated dispensing machine on nursing units and ancillary departments
Knowledge of location of all hospital departments and services is necessary for timely completion of responsibilities
Lists appropriate products for re-order of supply when needed
Competently handle packaging equipment and documentation. Associated appropriate signatures and checks are documented
Trains new associates on dispensing responsibilities
Performs other job-related duties within job scope as requested
Minimum Qualifications
Must have National Pharmacy Technician Certification or in Lieu of this Certification a Licensed Pharmacist Intern is required.
Must be registered by the State of Florida
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of two (2) years additional education and/or experience
