Description:

Holy Cross Health is seeking a skilled HVAC/Controls Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Tridium Niagara, Andover Continuum, and EcoStruxure systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC control systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency in our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair HVAC control systems, including Tridium Niagara, Andover Continuum, and EcoStruxure.

  • System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC systems and controls to ensure efficient operation.

  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan and efficiency of HVAC systems.

  • Calibration and Adjustment: Calibrate and adjust thermostats, valves, and other control devices for optimal performance.

  • Technical Documentation: Interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics related to HVAC installations.

  • Compliance: Ensure all installations and repairs comply with safety and quality standards, adhering to relevant codes and regulations.

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical information to non-technical staff in an understandable manner.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to complete projects efficiently.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on each job, including work performed, time spent, and materials used.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the HVAC industry for continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience with Tridium Niagara, Andover Continuum, and EcoStruxure systems.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC systems preferred.

  • Certifications: Relevant HVAC certifications are a plus.

  • Skills: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
