Portfolio Risk Officer II, Assistant Vice President The Portfolio Risk Officer provides data and analytic support to the Credit Analytics and Strategy (CAS) team. Responsible for updating datasets used by CAS team for preparing materials for Credit colleagues, Investor Relations, Credit Risk Committee, and Strategic Credit Committee. Key responsibilities include: Creates data queries for CAS using business intelligence tools. Performs analysis, make observations, and provide insight to identify and resolves problems with queries and reports, while adjusting to meet changing business needs. Develops and maintains proper controls and procedures supporting efficient data collection and make recommendations on data handling, usage, and process improvements. Position Responsibilities: * Consults with CAS groups, lines of business, credit risk groups and other internal 3rd parties to construct solutions that support a specific need for reporting or that resolves an issue or concern. * Develops/maintains proper controls and procedures supporting efficient data collection. Updates monthly production datasets including supporting processes, balancing routines, and error resolution. * Creates and runs more complex data queries including ad hoc requests from management. Provides report analysis with insight and business relevant recommendations. Supports process enhancement projects, including user testing, reporting, training, and trouble shooting. * Provides user training and ongoing user support Monitors existing risk management measurement, recommends amp; develops improvements. * Collaborates with IT and various departments in resolving PAR/EVOLV data issues. * Reviews and maintains ETL/logic mappings to support ongoing data quality and integrity. * Provides ad hoc data research and analytic support for CMA/CAS initiatives. * Uses business intelligence tools to navigate data sources and develop programs to query and analyze data.
