Success starts with you! Our client, a leading full-service law firm is looking for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join their growing team working in the Frisco, TX area.

Defense litigation experience including State and Federal e-filing is required for this position and Legal Assistant candidates must have 5+ years experience supporting litigation attorneys. E-filing experience with the court systems at the state and federal level, strong Microsoft skills, and the ability to work well in a team are required. This popular Law Firm is looking for an experienced civil litigation legal assistant for their Collin County office. Here is a small glimpse of your responsibilities:

• Manage the daily work flow of scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and being a helpful resource to the clients

• Prepare hearing and trial notebooks

• Edit and proofread a variety of legal documents

• Coordinate travel, depositions and conference calls

• File documents with the courts and initiate service of pleadings to other counsel

  Requirements

Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years’ Texas litigation experience

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

· Exceptional grammar, spelling and proofreading skills

· Fundamental knowledge of legal terminology, court rules and procedures

· State and Federal e-filing experience

· Friendly, organized and reliable
