Located 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, Omni PGA Frisco Resort is the largest resort currently in development in the country. Opening spring 2023, the resort will feature 500 guest rooms and suites, 10 four-bedroom ranch houses, three pools, including an adults-only rooftop infinity pool, a destination spa, Lounge by Top Golf, and over 127,000-square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. An expansive retail and entertainment district will feature dining, shopping and an outdoor stage set to be activated for concerts and outdoor programming. The Resort will become a leading destination for golf providing an unparalleled experience for those who are advanced players, new to the game, and everything in between. The resort will offer 46 holes of golf designed by Beau Welling and Gil Hanse, including two 18-hole championship golf courses, a lighted 10-hole short course, and a lighted two-acre putting green.
Job Description
Omni PGA Frisco Resortis hiring an experiencedAssistant Director of Houksepeeing to join the opening team of our brand-new luxury resort. Opening in the spring of 2023, Omni Frisco PGA Resort will provide north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment.
The Assistant Director of Housekeeping will partner with the Director of Housekeeping to manage and direct all Housekeeping functions, participate in quality assurance for the housekeeping department and achieve department cost control measures.
Responsibilities
Provides courteous, personalized, attentive, sincere, consistent guest service by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests & complaints using guest service skills. Exhibits hospitality while striving to exceed guest expectations.
Resolves difficult or unusual problems, while maintaining good guest relationships, demonstrating outstanding hospitality through the corrective action taken.
Maintains open and clear communication with all departments and guests to ensure consistent service.
Identify ways of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our service to guests by actively participating in the Omni Service Tradition program.
Assists Director of Housekeeping with all of the following departmental functions and concerns: assist with opening and the PM shift, minimizing turnover, maintaining close communication and interaction with Front Desk and Engineering departments , reporting all maintenance issues, maintaining uniform control, following up on guest requests, schdeuling and attending monthly meetings, quality assurance in public space and guest rooms, conducting linen and supply inventories, purchasing linen and supplies when needed (monitor housekeeping inventories to ensure adequate levels are maintained) assist with scheduling, kronos and payroll cost controls.
Inspects the cleaning and servicing of all guestrooms, and inspects all vacant rooms on a daily basis. Assist in cleaning rooms as needed on high turnover days or during potential call offs.
Prepare and complete all reports needed. VIP’s, Due-Out’s V/D’s etc.
Identifies all cleaning defects and reassigns them to the responsible GRA. Completes a full inspection form for each GRA.
Responsible for overseeing the house attendants, ensuring that they are working appropriately with GRA’s, and that they are completing all daily house attendant duties/special projects.
Participates in energy conservation efforts.
Respects resort property and work areas by keeping them clean, well maintained, stocked, and properly stored. Eliminates waste of supplies.
Assists in maintaining Omni standards of cleanliness and a consistent guestroom/guest experience.
Assists in maintaining a highly motivated and trained staff that continually strives for excellence, in service and cleanliness.
Qualifications
Prior housekeeping manager experience in hospitality industry required. Resort experience strongly preferred.
Bachelors degree preferred.
Highly motivated multitasker able to lead, motivate and develop others.
Available to work weekends and holidays as well as AM and PM shifts.
Able to navigate all 6 floors of the hotel, ranch homes and public space across the resort and entertainment district.
Able to communicate with a diverse team.
Able to walk and stand for length of shift. Able to bend, crawl, squat, lift, push and pull.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
