Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in the manufacturing industry, based in Fridley, Minnesota. The role involves a variety of HR tasks, from onboarding new hires to handling employee relations and performance management. The HR Generalist will also be expected to have a clear understanding of benefits and 401k and assist with recruitment processes.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage the onboarding process for new employees

• Act as an intermediary between production and hourly employees

• Assist in the recruitment process

• Handle employee relations and performance management issues

• Maintain compliance with Form I-9 verification

• Understand and manage benefits and 401k plans

• Assist with timesheet entries and time-off requests from hourly employees

• Utilize Ceridian Dayforce for HR and payroll tasks

• Use ICIMS for recruiting and Microsoft for general tasks

• Develop and grow within the role and organization

• Maintain accurate records and resolve customer inquiries. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role within the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in HRIS systems, specifically Ceridian and Dayforce

• Demonstrable experience in managing benefits functions

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proven track record of ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies

• Solid background in managing and improving employee relations

• Familiarity with FMLA and other leave of absence regulations

• Experience with Ceridian Windows

• Proven experience in managing the onboarding process for new employees
