Fairview Health Services Audiologist in Fridley, Minnesota
Overview
We are seeking an Audiologist to join our North Region M Health Fairview team of eight audiologists working across six locations! The audiologist will be a part of our collaborative team primarily at our Fridley Clinic for adult and pediatric diagnostic testing, hearing aid fitting and management and newborn screenings. Also, ENT clinic coverage at our Wyoming Clinic. The audiologist is responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care within scope of practice - this includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, planning, intervention and establishing outcomes.
FTE 1.0, authorized for 80 hours per pay period.
Locations: Fridley, Andover, Elk River, Maple Grove, Princeton, Wyoming.

M Health Fairview Rehabilitation offers a broad range of services that serve patients across10 acute-care hospitals, 3 post-acute settings and 70 outpatient adult and pediatric therapy clinics. Consisting of Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy as well as Audiology and Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehab, our therapists collaborate with colleagues in all medical settings and offer dozens of specialty programs.

Responsibilities Job Description
Evaluation
Captures pertinent data
Performs routine hearing evaluations, physiologic auditory assessment and special auditory testing
Hearing aid evaluation and fittings
Plan of Care
Analyzes data to identify needs and potential risks
Determines prognosis for recovery
Establishes individualized goals with patient and/or caregiver
Individualizes plan of care considering developmental level and cultural differences
Implements and modifies plan of care based on reassessment and patient response
Coordinates care and communicates effectively with interdisciplinary team & establishes appropriate discharge plan
Skilled Intervention
Implements plan of care
Alters treatment/plan of care to reflect change in patient status and response to treatment
Assesses patient and/or caregiver learning needs and provides appropriate education
Documentation/Billing

Qualifications
Required
Current Audiology licensure in the State of Minnesota
Basic Life Support certification
Preferred
Doctorate in Audiology
1+ years
