Robert Half is currently working with a well-established client looking for a Senior Tax Accountant.

Your responsibilities

• Manage outsourced tax preparation work

• Put together accurate quarterly and annual tax reports

• Participate in educational opportunities, professional organizations, networks, and read professional publications in order to stay up-to-date with tax changes and industry trends

• Create tax solutions to incorrect tax fillings or complicated tax issues

• Advise management on new tax laws or the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies

• Assemble tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company's tax database

• Recognize ways to improve profits and tax savings

• Ensure client compliance with federal, state and local tax regulations

  Requirements

• Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload

• 4+ years of public or corporate tax

• Outstanding organizational skills

• High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

• Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

• Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required

• CPA highly preferred

• Must have strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking
