Trinity Health Per Diem Physical Therapy Assistant - Days in Fresno, California

Description:

Reporting to the Supervisor Rehab Services, Physical Therapy Inpatient, this position is responsible for assisting with physical therapy procedures and related tasks that have been selected by the supervising physical therapist.

  1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

  2. Successful graduation from an accredited physical therapy assistant program (unless the Physical Therapy Examining Committee has provided a qualifying opinion on equivalent training and/or experience) is required.

  3. Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant with the State of California is required. Exception may be made for Physical Therapy Assistant Licensed Applicant with a requirement to obtain licensure within six months of hire into position.

  4. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.

  5. Minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant is preferred.

  6. Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

  7. Ability to utilize physical therapy equipment safely is required.

  8. Ability to relate in a professional manner to patients, physicians, the public and other health care providers while demonstrating excellent customer service is required.

Pay Range:

$30.78 - 43.09
