United Health Centers of the San Joaquin Valley Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) Program Manager in Fresno, California
We are recruiting for a Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) Program Manager in Fresno, CA.
The Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program provides comprehensive perinatal services of nutrition, health education, psychosocial, and related case coordination in conjunction with obstetrical services during pregnancy and sixty days following delivery.
The Comprehensive Perinatal Services Manager is responsible for the administration of UHC's CPSP program along with other health education projects/program needs. Primarily, this position will be responsible for the CPSP program material and will work closely with the site managers for overseeing the program staff. In addition, the position is responsible to work with registered dieticians and Health Education staff to help coordinate curriculum and standardization of all Health Education materials for UHC's patients and CPSP patients. Finally, the CPSP Manager is responsible for the implementation and reporting of education grants to UHC and funding sources.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Works closely with the Clinic Manager and other members of the clinic management team to:
Coordinate all CPSP services at all UHC sites.
Conduct ongoing UHC CPSP meetings with CPHW staff.
Works closely with RD's and different team and committees to develop and implement up to date education materials.
PERFORMANCE AREA 1: CPSP Coordination
Supports the success of the program by ensuring that the functions of the CPSP program meet State and UHC standards.
Responsible for ensuring that UHC's CPSP patient curriculum is up to date and meets with standards of care expectations.
Responsible to revising and implementing changes in curriculum as necessary.
Supports quality patient care by participating and engaging with the Medical Committee on curriculum to ensure current materials are used.
Supports the development of the team by facilitating regular meetings with the CPHW staff on program issues and changes, along with providing regular training and in-services.
Provides support to health center managers by being the point person for questions related to program issues and process.
Communicates information and progress of the program through presentations and regular reports.
Attends monthly and ongoing meetings with county and state officials for information on administration of the CPSP program.
Responsible for ensuring that all CPSP state program guidelines are met.
Responsible for meeting all CPSP state program guidelines and maintaining and updating all CPSP applications as necessary.
PERFORMANCE AREA 2: Health Education Coordination
Supports the program by developing and presenting health education and promotion programs such as training workshops, conferences, and school or community presentations.
Supports the overall program by collecting data and information and providing to grant organizations and/or UHC departments.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Bachelors degree in Nutritional Sciences or closely related field; Master's degree preferred;
Registered Dietician (RD) License Preferred.
Valid CA driver's license
PRIOR EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an ambulatory care setting
Prior supervisory experience preferred

Bilingual (English/Spanish): ability to read/write.

The pay range for this Exempt position starts at $64,480 a year. Our salary ranges are dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.
