* Quality Inspector--Day 1 Benefits--4 Day Work Week--OT Available *

Description :

A well-established manufacturer has an immediate opening for a Quality Inspector to oversee the daily operations of machine usage including saw, torch, and plasma cutters. Responsibilities include learning to differentiate grades of steel, performing material inspections, and efficiently using drop-off materials. The role requires operating various machines and hand tools, managing steel orders, and ensuring the cleanliness and servicing of machinery. The position involves heavy lifting and requires adherence to safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee the operation of multiple machines

• Perform all quality checks and ensure the highest quality in produced items

• Conduct inventory of all pieces before wrapping

• Double check color and profile on all pieces before wrapping

• Maintain adequate amounts of flats in stock racks

• Assist with lifting the sheet metal into machine with partner

Schedule:

• Monday thru Thursday 6:30am-4:30pm

Pay:

• $20-25/Hour depending on experience
