Job Purpose and Impact

The Business Support Associate will make independent decisions regarding planning and scheduling of varied and complex administrative and clerical support to Operations, while supporting and assisting with coordinating efforts between departments. In this role, you will partner with Operations to ensure cost, quality and safety requirements are met.

Shift(s) Available: 1st shift

Compensation: $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr based on experience

Principal Accountabilities

  • Support multiple operation system responsibilities such as producing reports, quality testing, inputting daily and monthly activity

  • Responsible for inventory administration activities such as entering inventory adjustments, updating customer inventories, and producing shorts report updates

  • Coordinate ordering of plant supplies and ingredient shipments including verifying open purchase orders and submitting to accounts payable orders for processing

  • Production Reconciliation, preparing, receiving paperwork including data entry to our computer systems using MS Office and other applications

  • Support and reconcile financial records and reports

  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations

  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience

  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 25lbs, kneeling, climbing, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

  • Ability to use a computer and office equipment

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word

  • Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

  • Working knowledge of the feed business and its logistical systems

  • NIS finance software experience

  • SAP software experience

  • Banking or Accounting work experience
