Western Digital Technologies Technician 3, Engineering in Fremont, California
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for moving and expediting non-production wafers.
- Transacting wafers using MITECS; releasing holds; performing non-standard transactions.
- Following guidelines to unpark and release wafers, using current procedures.
- Clearly communicate in written/verbally with development team members.
- Must possess good communication, problem solving, basic computer and team building skills.
- Candidate must be able to learn quickly and apply knowledge.
- Candidate must be flexible with hours and workovertime, as required by the team.
Qualifications
- Experience working in manufacturing fab
- Must have Knowledge and experience using MITECS
- Must have basic computer skills; must be comfortable using Outlook, Teams, Windows applications such as, but not limited to Microsoft Excel.
- Must have a strong sense of urgency/commitment and be result-oriented.
- Must be very detail-oriented.
- Must be a self-starter and quick learner.
- Must be able to solve problems and troubleshoot minor issues.
- High School/GED
