Description Robert Half is actively looking for an accomplished Senior Accountant for a long-term contract / contract to hire opportunity. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. What you get to do every single day

• Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments

• Other projects as necessary

• Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)

• An endless desire to improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

• Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts

• Put together monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

• Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests

• Work with internal and external auditors to coordinate quarterly reviews and testing

• Implement monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAA Requirements - Proficient at analyzing financial data and promptly creating accurate reports

• Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus

• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

• Knowledge of SAP B1 - Business One

• Foundational knowledge in account reconciliation

• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP B1 - Business One

• Self-starter and strong ethical standards

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent

• Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

• SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience

• Skilled in analytical, quantitative and social skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

• A strong track record of communicating, both verbally and in writing, with functional department managers

• Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

• Proficient in ERP systems

• Expertise in financial reporting
