Our client, a leader in the semiconductor and research industry is seeking a Lab Service Engineer who will be responsible for preventative/corrective maintenance, trouble shooting, upgrades, and calibration on equipment in the applications lab.

responsibilities:

• Perform preventative/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and calibration on lab equipment.

• Conduct maintenance using necessary PPE, including APR and SCBA, for handling hazardous materials.

• Collaborate with Process Development, Hardware, and Software Engineering departments for R&D activities and customer demos.

• Install and support prototype equipment, develop procedures/documentation as needed for R&D activities.

• Travel domestically and internationally to resolve complex tool/system issues at customer sites.

• Provide field and direct customer support, covering system hardware and software.

• Occasionally train Field Service Engineers, Engineering Technicians, Laboratory Service Engineers, or Process Engineers from regional accounts.
