Job Title: Chemical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Chemical Technicians to join our team. This role involves working with hazardous chemicals and requires individuals who are comfortable standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 lbs consistently, and working in a cleanroom environment. The position includes participation in our safety program and adherence to rigorous safety and environmental protocols.

Responsibilities

• Stand for long periods of time.

• Lift up to 40 lbs on a consistent basis.

• Work with hazardous chemicals on a daily basis.

• Process parts utilizing both chemical and manual cleaning methods.

• Perform daily organization and upkeep of assigned process area.

• Work in a cleanroom environment.

• Participate in and adhere to the safety program and complete various trainings.

• Organize tasks efficiently, manage time effectively, and report achieved task goals.

• Maintain high safety and environmental awareness through safe work habits.

• Attend monthly safety meetings and training programs.

• Handle hazardous chemicals correctly, including safe use and disposal.

Essential Skills

• Exceptional organizational skills.

• Efficient time management.

• Ability to take SPC measurements and log data.

• Experience with manufacturing processes, chemical handling, and production lines.

• Proficiency in data entry and computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

• Experience in parts cleaning and coating technologies is desired.

• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing.

Work Environment

The work environment includes working in a cleanroom with the requirement to wear a bunny suit. The role involves handling chemicals such as Hydrofluoric acid, Nitric Acid, Hydrochloric acid, Acetone, Isopropyl, Bleach, Ammonia, and Caustic soda. Shifts are available as follows: Day (6am-2:30pm), Swing (2pm-10:30pm), and Grave (10pm-6am).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FREMONT, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
