Description

We are offering a short term PART TIME contract employment opportunity for a Part Time Bookkeeper in Freeport, Maine. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and handling both accounts payable and receivable duties.

Responsibilities

• Handle data entry tasks related to financial transactions

• Manage and reconcile both accounts payable and receivable

• Perform month-end closing procedures and updates

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy

• Maintain and update financial records regularly

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various bookkeeping tasks

• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any financial discrepancies

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed

• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding of Bookkeeping principles

• Efficient in Data Entry tasks

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close procedures
