Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description

Actalent is hiring for an Automated Equipment Project Manager to support growth within an OEM's engineering team. The role is heavily customer involved and ensures all aspects of the Engineering Projects are completed according to customer specifications and timelines. This includes providing support from estimating through installation.

Hard Skills

• Driving, directing, and coordinating projects of medium complexity

• Providing design input to project designers

• Verifying design meets customer expectations

• Ensuring project is within budget

• Creating and maintaining project schedules utilizing Smartsheet

• Scheduling and facilitating Project Phase Reviews

• Creating and executing action items following Project Phase Reviews

• Ensuring customer approval of design

• Resolving problems as they occur

• Documenting and communicating when a change order may be required

• Leading project review meetings with customers

• Developing and maintaining electronic documentation related to releasing of manufacturing packages

• Utilizing AutoCAD or equivalent software to review or complete design requirements

• Preparing marked-up General Arrangement following site reviews

• Preparing revisions to existing drawings as needed for design changes

• Gathering information from resources to prepare detail drawings

• Managing multiple projects to achieve project objectives (manufacturing, quality, and engineering)

• Traveling to customer sites as needed to gather information pertaining to the project

• Providing installation support as needed

Soft Skills

• Strong customer communication/presenting skills

• Leading or managing major design projects from cradle to grave

• Customer interfacing

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Fredericktown, Ohio.

Work Environment

Engineering environment - 20+ on the team.
