Position Overview
Join the Strategic Accounts Insights team as a Sr. Manager, IT, and make a significant impact by supporting finance, commercial, and marketing functions with effective data analysis and management. You will demonstrate your expertise in data management, statistical analysis, cloud technologies, and data engineering to enable data-driven decision-making for revenue forecasting, segmentation, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) planning. By working closely with teams from different functions, you will deliver valuable insights that drive revenue and commercial strategies.
How You Will Make an Impact
Apply your expertise in data analysis, cloud-based data management, and statistical methods to generate insights that enable data driven critical business decisions. Use your technical proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, data modeling techniques, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for efficient data management and data analysis. This will enable finance, marketing, sales and commercial teams to access accurate and timely data, empowering them to optimize financial outcomes and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to revenue, commercial performance, and marketing insights to provide meaningful business insights.
Support AOP (Annual Operating Plan) planning by delivering revenue forecasts, trend analysis, and segmentation insights.
Lead the design, development, and optimization of ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient data management and integration.
Develop and maintain data pipelines to enable seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), bringing to bear cloud-based solutions in AWS or Azure.
Develop and handle dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau to communicate insights to customers.
Collaborate with Strategic Accounts finance and commercial teams to identify data trends and drive data-driven strategies.
Strengthen data integrity, accuracy, and security by efficiently crafting and guiding databases, including harnessing cloud infrastructure for scalable data solutions.
Conduct in-depth data analysis, including statistical modeling, forecasting, and regression analysis, to assist in corporate decision-making.
Collaborate with diverse groups to gather data requirements and translate business needs into technical work.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Equivalent experience in lieu of a Master's degree is acceptable.
Experience Requirements
5+ years of experience with bachelor's degree or 2+ years or experience with master's degree in Machine Learning
Previous experience as a data analyst, preferably in a role supporting Strategic Accounts, finance, or commercial operations.
Strong proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and data analysis.
Expertise in developing and optimizing ETL processes and working with large datasets in a data warehouse environment.
Expertise in cloud-based data management solutions using platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Proficient in statistical methods for business analysis, including regression, hypothesis testing, and forecasting.
Proficient in handling accounting data, commercial data, and social data for business analysis, forecasting, and AOP planning.
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Skilled in leading data projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering to execution and delivery, while ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines
Ability to align data strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring data initiatives drive impactful business outcomes.
Solid understanding of data governance frameworks, ensuring data integrity, privacy, and security in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Expertise in crafting intricate data models and architectures to support business intelligence and analytics solutions.
Experience with automating data workflows, processes, and reporting systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure security and scalability, especially in platforms like AWS or Azure, to support large-scale data solutions.
Ability to bring to bear machine learning models and AI technologies to improve predictive analytics and advanced data insights.
Demonstrated success in collaborating and engaging with multi-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and operations, to seamlessly align data solutions with business needs.
Familiarity with agile principles and methodologies to drive iterative development and continuous improvement in data management processes.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $103,100.00–$154,700.00.
