Walmart Full-time 1st shift - Custodian II - Health and Wellness Non-Store Operations in Frederick, Maryland

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurate. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.

We are hiring for a Full-time 1st Shift Custodian in our Central Fill in Frederick, MD. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (Day Shift)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of custodial experience or related experience

  • High School Diploma or GED

Job Duties include:

  • Assists in facility support by setting up rooms for special events; performing minor maintenance and repair activities; collecting and transporting recyclables; disassembling and cleaning drug dispensers; and reporting facility issues (for example, roof leaks, power outages) to management.

  • Ensures clean and sanitary facilities (for example, offices, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, elevators, parking lots) according to company safety procedures and guidelines and federal, state, and local laws and regulations (for example, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, state health department regulations)by wearing personal protective equipment

  • Emptying waste receptacles and recycle bins; dusting, sweeping, and wet mopping; stripping and waxing floors; cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and showers; vacuuming and spot-cleaning carpets; cleaning electronic devices (for example, microwaves), windows, air conditioner ducts, and ceiling tiles; and identifying and reacting to additional cleaning needs.

The hourly wage range for this position is $14.00-$16.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

  • Sales Volume Category (SVC) (based on facility sales volume)
