Driver
Reports to: Distribution Manager
Scope
Drivers are responsible to deliver product on time in a safe manner. They must maintain product integrity in transit, verify delivery and return quantities and clean trucks.
This is a third shift job. and is from 10pm to 5 or 6am. It can be 4 and up to a 6 day work week.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Verify delivery quantities and load trucks.
Deliver product in a safe and timely manner.
Maintain product integrity throughout delivery cycle.
Count and collect returns.
Accurately complete all delivery tickets.
Upon return to facility, unload racks and baskets and ensure truck is clean. 7. Communicate with the Distribution Manager concerns that are impeding efficient performance of tasks.
Communicate to the Distribution Manager customer complaints regarding product quality, delivery or service.
Perform additional duties upon request.
Complete the Driver Log and Delivery checklist and ensure that all tasks are complete.
Practice “Clean As You Go.”
Report to work on time and maintain good personal hygiene.
Perform according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety guidelines throughout the production shift.
Strictly adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Drivers license with good driving record.
Physically able to load, unload and deliver racks.
Must have knowledge of basic math and reading (English) skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
