Otter Products Receiving Clerk, 1st & 2nd Shifts in Frederick, Colorado
Otter Products is currently recruiting for 1st Shift and 2nd Shift Receiving Clerks to join our Frederick, Colorado Distribution Center team! As a Receiving Clerk, you will coordinate and unload incoming inventory at the distribution center using equipment such as forklifts, turrets, and pallet jacks to unload material from delivery vehicles in adherence with safety procedures. The Receiving Clerk utilizes warehouse management systems to validate the material list, purchase orders (PO) and part numbers in accordance with the packing slip and Bill of Lading (BOL) and repeatedly lifts and moves heavy boxes of materials to organize and group them together for storage.
The successful candidate understands safety processes and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, basic mathematics, and effective verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail. Additionally, current forklift certification or the ability to earn and maintain stand up and sit-down forklift certification is a must. Does this sound like you? 1st Shift: Monday through Thursday, 4:45 AM to 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday, 3:45 PM to 2:15 AM (Receives Shift Differential)

Obtain Bill of Lading (BOL), reconcile BOL, and verify scheduled appointments.
Receive inbound vehicles using warehouse management systems.
Verify seal, break seal, and assign door number to truck driver and update C-TPAT log.
Unload materials from delivery transport and repeatedly lift and move heavy boxes to organize product per Purchase Order (PO) and SKU designation.
Verify correct number of pallets, sign paperwork-keeping a copy and returning the other to the driver.
Clean pallets for any material that is not required for the product and dispose of in the designated area.
Move finished pallets to the end of aisles for bulk storage.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Perform all tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
Ensure fellow team members follow safety practices and company policies.
Assist with running metrics and reports.
Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment.
Other duties as required.
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum of one year of work experience required, previous Inbound or Receiving experience preferred.
Experience operating a forklift is required.
Experience with M3, warehouse management system, is required.
