Fortive Corporation Marketing Communication Specialist in Franklin, Tennessee

Censis is looking for an exceptional Marketing Communications Specialist with a passion for crafting engaging value-led content and digital media to join our marketing team. You will play an important role in managing our online and offline communication with clients, enhancing brand awareness, and promoting our products and services. Your responsibilities will involve creating compelling messaging, coordinating promotional efforts, and engaging with our target audience. Primary responsibilities:

· Interview our audience and hang out in their digital channels to uncover story opportunities and write about it in the most actionable and helpful way.

· Collaborate with subject matter experts (including Censis employees, our clients, and industry experts) to write and produce value-led content, including articles, podcast interviews, case studies, guides, and more.

· Coordinate the design of promotional material and ensure effective distribution across online and offline channels.

· Plan and organize interviews, press conferences, and media interactions.

· Craft and send regular newsletters with company updates.

· Create a content calendar to outline and organize all our topics, deliverables, distribution channels, and schedule. Supervise progress and partner with cross-functional teams and agency partners to deliver on time.

· Grow our social media followers and increase audience engagement by writing and creating weekly posts for our LinkedIn and Facebook channels, working with graphic design and digital media partners as needed.

· Monitor all content and channels to understand what resonates with our audience (and what doesn’t) to continually advise and optimize our approach.

· 2+ years in marketing communications role.

· Exceptional copywriter, editor, and storyteller; ability to write and produce engaging and educational content, using insightful and human language.

· Proactive, self-starter who is passionate about producing quality content with consistent style, tone, and excellent grammar.

· Experience navigating and creating content for various social media channels.

· Hands-on experience with content management tools

· Can complete tasks in a timely manner and thrives under timelines.

· Outstanding storyteller. Able to create well-written, meaningful, engaging, and shareable stories and digital content that connects with our audience and articulates the value we provide; Can connect our solutions to how they make life better for customers.

· Curiosity and confidence. Can make meaningful connections with subject matter experts and get really good at interviewing and collaborating with them to produce engaging content.

· Master project manager. You will be working cross-functionally with other marketers and collaborators on various kinds of content and campaigns simultaneously – ability to juggle multiple projects, stay organized, and clearly communicate timelines, handoffs and requirements.

· Intrinsic creativity. You will have numerous opportunities to craft novel, fun, and powerful content and campaigns that enable Censis to stand out and get buyer’s attention. You have permission (and are encouraged) to think in an unexpected way!

· Self-motivated and bias for action. Have a strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and urgency in everything you do. Can bring new ideas, but also complete them.

· Data analysis. Need to know how to use data and metrics to understand which pieces are driving traffic and engagement, and which are falling flat – and use those insights to adjust the content calendar and lean into what works.

· Agility. Can create a plan, but also be able to shift things around as new ideas and opportunities arise!

National: The salary range for this position is $54,100 - $100,500

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
