Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Franklin, Tennessee

Description

We are offering a contract opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in the healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry. This role is based in Franklin, Tennessee, and will involve working with a new vendor for leaves. The HR Assistant will be required to communicate effectively with internal staff and demonstrate attention to detail. The role will initially require being on-site 4 days per week, transitioning to 3 days on-site and 2 days remote after training.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with a new vendor for leaves and updating HRIS system in a timely manner.

• Ensuring a smooth setup process for the new vendor.

• Being approachable and responsive to internal staff queries.

• Demonstrating a high level of attention to detail in all tasks.

• Regularly communicating with internal staff via phone.

• Utilizing human resources software effectively.

• Managing and tracking leave of absences.

• Ensuring all HR related tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

• Assisting in other HR-related tasks as and when required.

• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the company's privacy policies.

Requirements • Candidate must possess a strong understanding of Leave of Absence policies and procedures.

• Proficiency in using various Human Resources software tools is essential.

• Experience within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industries is highly desirable.

• The role requires strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees and management.

• The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion is mandatory.

• Candidate should have excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook is expected.

• Basic knowledge of HR laws and regulations is preferred.

• Candidate should have the ability to work both independently and within a team.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments are required.

• Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills.

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.

• Previous experience in a Human Resources role would be advantageous.
