Robert Half Director/Manager Financial Reporting in Franklin, Tennessee

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Director/Manager Financial Reporting based in Franklin, Tennessee. The role is part of the finance team and will be focused on building out the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) function. The job function revolves around directing work assignments, analyzing data, forecasting, and preparing reports. This role will be based in a typical office environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze large data sets to extract information on account health, sales funnel, customer profitability, and various SaaS metrics, and convert these into actionable steps for the company.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to forecast, plan, and monitor against budget.

• Oversee the annual budgeting process.

• Prepare and present reports for board meetings, investor reporting, and internal communications.

• Develop and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in alignment with the company's overall goals.

• Partner with department leaders to review strategies and initiatives based on budgets.

• Lead a team of professionals, managing and evaluating their performance.

• Leverage Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, EPS, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Auditing, Balance Sheet Account, Budget Processes, SaaS, and SAAS - Software As A Service in performing daily tasks. Requirements • Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in Accounting Software Systems.

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services.

• Experience with BlackLine and EPS.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Ability to manage all Accounting Functions effectively.

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP).

• Proficiency in Auditing and Balance Sheet Account management.

• Adept at managing Budget Processes.

• Knowledge of SaaS and SAAS - Software As A Service.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Proven ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.

• Strong understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.

• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

• Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.

• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.

• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.

• Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or relevant field.
