As a Utility associate you will assist press operators during set-up in an exemplary manner to optimize department performance according to the Company quality policies..

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist press operators as they set-up presses or machinery, including assisting with the loading and unloading of steel coils, dumping scrap hoppers via hilo into appropriate scrap containers, obtaining proper tote or packaging requirements via hilo and moving the washer as needed.
• Ensure that containers of product are properly tagged and marked, barcode label printed, including count.
• Support 5S organizational and cleaning activities to ensure efficiency of work area is maintained
• Effectively communicate with co-workers and management personnel to enhance teamwork and communication initiatives.
• Consistently adhere to, and support, company policies and procedures, including ISO, TS16949, and safety regulations.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• A high school diploma or GED
• An ability to work safely and follow all safety procedures
• A positive attitude and willingness to support other team members
• The ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, adhere to strict quality standards, and accurately complete production paperwork
• An excellent work record (including attendance)
• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
