For this we are currently seeking an individual with outstanding work behaviors and a high standard of motivation to join the team as a Pharma Analytics Field Applications Scientist (m/f/d) to cover Central Europe . In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact as you provide remote and on-site application support to our customers as they apply our best in class solutions for lot-release and in-process quality control to their innovative and life-saving medicine. What you'll do

  • Coordinate and provide technical support for post-sales applications both on-site and remotely, including setting up the lab, offering consultancy, delivering training, and resolving issues.

  • Collaborate with customers to efficiently implement Pharma Analytics solutions.

  • Ensure customer happiness by handling queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

  • Maintain up-to-date technical expertise on products and industry trends, and develop key opinion leadership within the company and externally.

  • Act as the voice of our customers within the organization, influencing new product developments.

  • Provide technical feedback on problems and their solutions to the team, product management, and quality management.

  • Represent our solutions and services at conferences and other customer-facing events.

  • Provide presales support by leading customer-facing discussions on product specifications and conducting workflow demonstrations.

What you'll need:

  • Hold a B.Sc or higher degree in Life Science or a relevant science subject. (M.Sc or PhD preferred)

  • Familiarity with molecular biology and genomic analytical techniques such as real-time PCR, digital PCR, Sanger sequencing, and capillary electrophoresis helpful.

  • Possess experience in assay and workflow development, optimization, and troubleshooting.

  • Have good knowledge of nucleic acid extraction techniques.

  • Understand the regulations relevant to biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Previous experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is a bonus.

  • Exhibit a high degree of technical competence.

  • Be able to work in a matrix organization, collaborating with and reporting to multiple partners.

  • Be eager to work independently in a virtual team with limited day-to-day supervision.

  • Possess excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Demonstrate outstanding communication and presentation skills.

  • Anticipate traveling within the territory and internationally as required.

  • Be fully proficient in English. Proficiency in another language, especially German, would be an advantage.

  • Possess a full and clean driving license.

  • Knowledge and experience in process development, process validation, and/or pharmaceutical quality control are advantageous.
