The SATG Open Operating System Program Management Office is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Program Manager to drive and align a new OSV co-development program, including aligning Intel, OSV, customers, and partners on shared objectives, how we measure success, how we Go-To-Market (GTM) and ensuring delivery across a complicated and cross-functional program. The successful candidate will be deeply grounded in relevant technology and have experience and skill with customer viewpoints, business aspects, distribution models, and market dynamics.

Working closely with our internal and external engineering partners you will be responsible for:

  • Understanding the key platform features across generations, building deep relationships with the relevant teams and tracking execution and delivery.

  • Managing and coordinating customer meetings, contract management, and escalations

  • Influencing and Communicating to a wide variety of stakeholders including Intel's Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Business Unit executives and platform management teams, External customers and partners, Internal engineering stakeholders

  • Creating and maintaining unified cross-ingredient and cross-generational roadmaps.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree (Masters Degree preferred) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field of study

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in software development across the stack from low-level kernel to application/user space.

  • 5+ years of proven technical experience in Software Program and External Customer Management with a strong record of delivery in an open-source environment across broadly organizationally and geographically distributed teams.

  • Working experience with leading edge software development processes and tools and processes: Agile, Jira, Git, etc.,

  • Demonstrate core values essential for a successful program manager: Collaboration, Written and Verbal Communication, Customer Focus, Drive for Results, Technical Excellence, Attention to Detail, Business Acumen, as well as demonstrable experience in planning, tracking, and reporting project progress.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP)

  • Familiarity with Intel's server product line and release cadence.

  • Familiarity with and ideally use of PLC development frameworks

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, California: $156,950.00-$274,730.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
