What you’ll be doing:

• Launch features to meet business needs in partnership with engineering, design, and business stakeholders.

• Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and rollout system changes.

• Achieve goals by communicating how individual and team contributions align with Staples' vision and the team’s objectives.

• Possess an organizational awareness to effect results by influencing partners through appropriate organization channels.

• Incorporate innovation into daily execution.

• Support the Category Merchant in driving profitable sales for the company.

What you bring to the table:

• Strong organization skills with ability to multi-task.

• Work collaboratively with partners from across the business to curate and manage assortments and promotions in our systems, liaise with vendors and perform other category management activities across our dotcom and/or business-to-business eCommerce platforms.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Ability to work independently and execute across multiple groups.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to learn fast and think on your feet.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ year of prior work experience in business or related field

• 1+ year using Microsoft Suite (MS Excel skills a MUST).

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 1-2 years’ experience in business or related field

• Intermediate level systems experience with databases, AS400 systems and spreadsheets

• 6+ months merchandising and print experience

• 6+ months analytical/financial experience
