Leidos Intern Associate Project Manager - New Construction in Framingham, Massachusetts

Leidos, a Fortune 500 company, seeks a qualified and dynamic Project Manager Associate Intern who will provide support as a part of our successful Energy Efficiency program team inMA & RI. This position offers a unique career opportunity with the successful energy efficiency programs that promotes energy efficiency projects for various energy related programs.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Project Manager Associate Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects for our New Construction Services programs. You will work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet the highest quality standards. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management while contributing to the success of real-world projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with New Construction program customers to facilitate their participation in the program

  • Communicate technical issues across the project team.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and collaboration.

  • Maintain project documentation and status reports utilizing CRM.

  • Assist in quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet specified standards.

  • Support special projects that may include programs that involve the WELL Building Standard, assessing renewable energy, battery storage and EV infrastructure opportunities in the commercial and public building space.

  • Provide insights and suggestions for process improvements based on internship experiences

  • Position may require performing utility pre and post installation inspections from time to time

Basic Qualifications

  • Nust be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Business or Environmental and Sustainability Science and experience in project management related activities or work.

  • The ability and desire to be: productive, accurate, and organized.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and statistical knowledge and skills using Excel.

  • This position requires a valid driver’s license and physical ability to perform field verification of pre and post installation of energy efficiency measures.

  • Ability to be self-starting—demonstrate initiative---including the ability to collaborate well in a supportive team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Energy Efficiency program design and delivery

  • Experience working in teams

  • Excellent computer and communication skills

  • Familiarity with MS Teams, Sharepoint and CRMs such as SalesForce

  • Ideally a part time student or full time with the availability to work 10-18 hours per week during the school year and potentially more in the summer and breaks

Pay Range:

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
