Twining Consulting, Inc., an innovative engineering, testing, and Inspection Company, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Fountain Valley office. It is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to make an immediate impact and for a candidate looking to grow within the organization. Qualified candidates will perform the following duties:

• Provide assistance to Project Managers.
• Support project team with the management of reports for the consulting services.
• Review of field and laboratory reports.
• Documentation and handling of nonconformance items.
• Accurate and timely billing. Provide audit of back up documentation for project invoices.
• Performing support tasks assigned by the Project Manager in timely and productive way while maintaining position utilization goals.
• Provide support to project managers on client requests for project documents.
• Provide assistance to organization for the project concerning project goals, details and deliverables.
• Provide assistance on the planning and implementation of services for the company projects.
• Provide support on coordination and management of project tasks and deliverables with the supervision of the project manager.
• Provide assistance on the evaluation of data as required.
• Provide support on tracking of project budgets and tracking and reporting project progress and produce additional budget requests.
• Provide support on the collections efforts of open invoices.

Required Competencies Include:

• A minimum of 5 years in the construction industry and/or civil engineering experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exhibits an advanced ability to analyze problems and develop alternative strategies to solve them.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with co-workers, clients, and potential clients.
• Ability to maintain company established chargeability goals.
