ManpowerGroup Validation Engineer in Foster City, California
Our client, a leader in autonomous mobility solutions, is seeking a Validation Engineer to join their team. As a Validation Engineer, you will be part of the Component and Sub System Hardware Validation team supporting the mission of delivering safe and reliable robotaxi services. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovation which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Validation Engineer
Location: Foster City, CA
Pay Range: $65-70/h + Benefits
What's the Job?
Develop and manage test plans to validate mechanical, electrical, and environmental failure modes.
Perform system and component level developmental and validation/verification testing.
Collaborate with design engineers to ensure that requirements are clearly defined and captured within the validation plan.
Analyze test data to provide clear and concise reporting of test results.
Support root cause failure analysis activities during development, validation, and deployment.
What's Needed?
BS or MS in mechanical engineering, or related relevant field.
3-6 years of test or validation experience related to automotive ECUs, mechatronics, or lighting.
Experience working with DFMEAs and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with a wide variety of lab and measurement equipment.
Experience with Project Management tools such as JIRA and Kanban methodology.
