The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to month-end close, forecasting and budgeting, and financial reporting. They will be organized and approach each issue with a professional services mindset.

Responsibilities

• Strong month-end close experience including flux analysis and financial reporting.

• Support external audit if necessary

• Heavy Excel use for ad-hoc reporting

• Ability to apply technical accounting concepts to real-world issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics

• CPA preferred but not required

• Effective business communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities

• Must live in the San Francisco Bay area

• Prior experience in public accounting preferred

• Powerful Microsoft Excel skills

  Requirements

• CPA preferred; MBA nice to have

• Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers

• Experience with month end closings

• Adeptness in revenue recognition

• Proficiency in Audit Prep

• Public Accounting experience preferred

• Foundational knowledge in financial reporting

• SOX experience desired

• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

• 3+ years of recent relevant financial experience

• Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively

• Solid technical skills
