MIG Welder
$18-$24/hr
Job Description
Our fabrication shop specializes in building custom conveyors, cranes, and material handling products. We are seeking a skilled Welder who will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints to perform fitting, layout, drilling, welding, and assembling tasks. You will primarily be working with .045 Flux Core welding.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints for fitting, layout, drilling, welding, and assembling tasks.
Perform welding using .045 Flux Core.
Conduct Mig welding and torch cutting as required.
Handle structural welding and fabrication.
Inspect welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
Assist with crane operations and stick welding as needed.
Essential Skills
5-6 years of welding experience (candidates with less experience may be considered).
2-3 years of experience with Flux Core welding.
Proficiency in Mig welding, torch cutting, and blueprint reading.
Experience with structural welding, fabrication, and welding inspection.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Certification in welding (preferred).
Ability to pass 3G and 4G weld tests if certification is not available.

Work Environment
You will be working in a manufacturing shop that is a couple of years old, with approximately 5-10 people in the shop at any given time. The work environment is equipped with modern tools and technologies to support your welding tasks.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00
