Lockheed Martin Systems Installation Manufacturing Engineer Sr. Staff in Fort Worth, Texas

This LM Aeronautics position resides within the newly formed Production Engineering Program Assist Team. This team consist of five critical Manufacturing Engineering skillsets and their mission is to provide technical guidance and support to Production Engineering disciplines across multiple LM Aero Advanced Development Programs (ADP). This position is to fill the role of Subject Matter Expert in the critical skill area of aircraft systems installations on the Production Engineering Program Assist Team.
Candidate will be required to have knowledge of and experience in the following skillsets for aircraft electrical, fiber optic, coax, line replaceable unit (LRU), hydraulics, and plumbing installations:
• Engineering design and producibility reviews to ensure compliant installation in a production environment.
• Development and execution of manufacturing processes and technologies to support manufacturing plan development of system installations in the most efficient method possible.
• Tooling strategies and design to support efficient fabrication of detail parts and assembly level tooling for installation at end item.
• Fabrication and assembly level inspection techniques and procedures
Individual must be able to convey their experience and guide various Production Engineers and cross-functional counterparts to ensure successful system installation processes are executed. The candidate will participate in various program reviews (Manufacturing Readiness Reviews - MRRs, Independent Non Advocate Reviews – INARs, Production Readiness Reviews – PRRs, etc. for Production Engineering in their area of expertise. Candidate will be part of the Production Engineering Critical Skill development team and will stay engaged in technology trends and help advance the technology in their role/ skill along with partnering with Ops Tech to develop Technology Roadmaps. The candidate will create playbooks, job guides, and training to support the documentation of best practices & lessons learned and to transfer knowledge across Production Engineering.
Candidate must be able to engage other teams professionally and effectively. Must be able to concurrently handle multiple and widely varying assignments simultaneously in a fast paced, ever-changing environment with minimal oversight. Must have the ability to work independently as well as being a team player and willing to support other team members on a proactive basis in any capacity needed.

Basic Qualifications:
• Extensive experience with design reviews and hands on system installations in a fabrication and assembly level production environment.
• Experience leading a manufacturing engineering team.
• Ability to work effectively with different engineering and production teams to guide and implement build/process requirements.
• Ability to travel per business requirements
• Final Secret Clearance investigation within the last 5 years.
• Bachelors Degree
Desired Skills:
• Experience executing manufacturing processes in a Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) environment.
• Experience with the Siemens Xcelerator and/or the Dassault 3DX PLM ecosystems.
• Good written and verbal communication with experience in writing/presenting to executive leadership.
• Experience with Manufacturing Readiness Assessment (MRL/MRA) evaluating build/process maturity and AS6500.
• Demonstrated ability to drive closure and resolve complex, large-scale technical issues/challenges.
• Experience with multiple aircraft program’s system installations.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $112,800 - $216,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $129,700 - $244,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
