Who You Are

As a Material Program Manager (MPM), you will be responsible for potentially supporting both capture and execution programs to include all cost, schedule, and technical performance aspects of subcontracts and suppliers within the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) global supply chain organization. You will lead the Subcontract Management Team and act as the Supply Chain lead for material activity. This role involves both on-site work and telework, with travel to Customers and Suppliers as necessary. Position is highly visible within Lockheed Martin and Customer leadership.

What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a programmatic business rhythm as the SMT and Supply Chain Lead to ensure cost, schedule, and technical objectives are met for subcontractors and suppliers.

• Leverage supply chain metrics to identify improvement opportunities and monitor overall performance and efficiency.

• Lead programmatic and technical meetings with subcontractors and suppliers.

• Oversee all subcontractor/material budgets and funding allocations / limitations.

• Resolve issues that create risks to subcontractor and supplier performance, while also identifying and exploiting opportunities.

• Manage customer-driven changes and their impact on subcontractors / suppliers.

• Manage the Earned Value baselines of subcontractors.

• Oversee the inputs, forecasts, and performance to plan for material to ensure the program’s Orders, Sales, EBIT, Cash plans are met.

• Communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.

Must be a US Citizen. This position will require an Interim Secret Government Security Clearance prior to starting this role and is located at a facility that requires special access.

AeroSCM

Basic Qualifications:

- 12+ years of Global Supply Chain and/or Customer experience or 10+ years with a Masters Degree

- Experience with large scale, intensive, material procurement program development

- Risk and Opportunity management with experience identifying, communicating, and mitigating risk, issues, and opportunities

- Experience leading a cross functional team and mitigating any challenges or issues that arise; to include traveling to work site or potential subcontractor/supplier site

- Experience multi-tasking to support multiple complex initiatives at the same time

- A communicator at all levels, representative of the SCM organization; to include internal and external stakeholders, at all levels

- Experience with FAR/DFAR (or international equivalents), and LM Acquisition Procedures

- Experience with the Truth in Negotiation Act (TINA)

- Ability to obtain a secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

Desired Skills:

- Extensive Experience in Subcontract Management and Material Procurement Management; to include: RFP generation, Statement of Work creation, through closeout

- Experience managing geographically diverse teams

- Experience working international programs and international subcontractors

- Experienced in fixed price, cost reimbursable and time and material subcontracting

- Experience conveying sourcing related status and reporting metrics; to include supplier risk based indicator metrics; which provides insight into supplier cost, schedule, and technical status

- Experience as Cost Account Manager (CAM)

- Demonstrable experience managing programs and/or subcontractor performance from red to green status

- Experience leading diverse subcontract management teams, made up of representatives from multiple disciplines

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
