Lockheed Martin Senior Software Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas
Description: Sr. Test Automation Engineer supporting Lockheed Martin Aeronautics IT activities within the Enterprise Operations organization. This individual will work in an Agile environment to support Test Automation planning, coordination, designing, development, maintaining and documenting automated test scripts as well as facilitating and maintaining the business process for test coverage. Your expertise in test automation will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and accuracy of our software applications. The selected candidate will adhere to following Test Automation best practices and TOSCA framework and test tools. The selected candidate will be a key technical resource and will work with teams across the organization, delivering automated testing to support software deliveries and strives to become an IT PLM (Product Life-Cycle Management) Subject Matter Expert (SME – understands core product functionality and test data setups). This individual will work closely with the test automation lead and other SME's to deliver automated test scripts to customers. This position is accountable for developing automated tests that support multiple digital platforms, collecting test metrics and increasing test coverage using the automated systems ensuring that new or modified software functionality according to business requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
• Technical capability to learn, design and develop automated tests for web-based, API and Windows based Applications using enterprise test automation tool (i.e., Tricentis Tosca)
• Experience to setup and execute using the DEX feature of TOSCA
• Experience working with Gitlab CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to learn to use PLM Web & Desktop versions by completing training certifications along with executing manual regression test to support quarterly releases
• Capable of working simultaneously with multiple SME and SCRUM teams in a fast paced environment
• Familiar in working with Agile Methodologies (Kanban, SCRUM - Sprints)
• Experience in creating JIRA Epics/Stories for managing work and tracking progress
• Continuous learner and staying updated on the latest tools and software technologies
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written to work with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to details
• Experience utilizing TOSCA Test Data Services
Desired Skills:
• Ability to learn at least one object oriented programming/scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, JAVA, C to support the framework
• Ability to assess manual test cases for conversion into Test Automation Scripts with minimal guidance and support
• Ability to collaborate closely with developers, product owners, SMEs and other team members to fully understand test automation requirements
• Experience utilizing Tricentis Tosca Vision AI with test automation
• Collaborates with Business End User SMEs to review and leverage PLM user documentation in order to create manual test cases with Excel or Test Management tool (e.g., Tricentis Q-Test, ALM)
• Demonstrated manual testing experience working on software applications
• Ability to learn to create PLM Master Test Data, Transactional Test Data including understanding Integration / synchronized data dependencies with other Applications
• Basic HTML Tag knowledge for identifying UI Controls / technical properties for use with a Test Automation tool (e.g., Tosca, etc.)
• Identify Application functional areas where automation can improve quality and increase time to delivery
• Ability to analyze Applications to maximize test automation coverage for the most critical features of the system
• Determine Test Automation feasibility and priority for Automated Regression Test

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $102,800 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
