Lockheed Martin Project Engineer - Level 4 in Fort Worth, Texas

What You Will Be Doing

You will work as a member of the Sustainment Supply Readiness Improvement Team. You will be responsible for collaborating across multiple teams and interfacing with the customer to ensure associated metrics drive desired performance outcomes. This will require a highly motivated individual with a continuous improvement mindset, who can apply analytics to understand key process drivers and integrate across teams to drive the implementation of solutions, including providing information that enables quick and accurate decision-making for execution teams and leadership. The role involves detailed data mining to identify Supply execution degraders, developing creative solutions, and tracking them to closure by working with SMEs and responsible parties across the Program.

This position requires working with executive internal and external leadership with frequent customer interaction, including presenting to high-ranking customers. Responsibilities also include follow-up debriefings as required to aid in the rapid identification of emerging issues that would require company intervention to avoid degradation to contracted metrics; as well as analyze appropriate trends identifying unique operational problems that require technical, procedural, or quality assurance actions to improve performance. This position will be able to communicate corrective actions through monitoring and analyzing system changes and identifying impacts to performance outcomes. The candidate will be a self-starter and have the ability to identify/manage projects that degrade Supply performance.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX  Discover Fort Worth.

Basic Qualifications:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Data Analytics/Science, or another related discipline from an accredited university; or equivalent experience/combined education

• Must have Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or Inventory Management experience

• Must have demonstrated Project Management, Root-Cause Corrective-Action, and/or Data Analytic capabilities/experience

Desired Skills:

- Highly motivated individual, eager to seek out and lead performance improvement efforts for Supply

- Excellent communication, effective presentation skills, and assertive personality in getting answers or actions completed to ensure project success

- Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau, Self-Service, QlikView, PowerBI, or similar tools

- Programming experience and demonstrated proficiency with at least one modern software language such as C++, C, C#, Java, Python, etc. a plus

- Previous experience with supply metrics, performance investigation, and/or KPI reporting a plus

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
