Description

Responsibilities will include:

· Responsible for ongoing analysis of financial results, providing insights and recommendations on performance improvement opportunities for Plant Operations.

· Analyze variance for monthly results verses budget and previous year.

· Prepare the monthly financial review report for the plant

· Present monthly and year-end financial results with plant operations teams and senior leadership

· Prepare the annual operating budget for the plant

· Analyze and monitor key performance indicators

· Prepare the financial evaluation of plant capital expenditures proposals and control spending.

· Analyze plant overhead actual results to budget and standards.

· Prepare financial data, business input and analysis for special projects.

Interested candidates must have a bachelor degree in accounting, 7 plus years of progressive hands on accounting experience, must have actual plant manufacturing experience and working closely with plant operations, cost accounting and inventory. CPA or CMA is highly preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of a large ERP system and Advanced Excel knowledge is required. Excellent communication and presentations skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

  • Past work in technology, analytics and management experience highly valued

  • Self-starter and strong ethical standards

  • Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

  • Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred

  • Practical knowledge of Continuous Process Improvement

  • Expertise in financial analysis

  • Well-founded grasp of Annual Physical Inventory

  • Analyze Variance experience preferred

  • Quality experience with KPI Reporting

  • Proven knowledge of financial reporting

  • General familiarity with cost accounting

  • Deep understanding of Annual Operating Budget

  • Solid understanding of University Degree

  • Variance analysis experience highly desired

  • CPA or CMA preferred

  • BA/BS in Accounting

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Prior work done in public accounting is desired

  • Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
