Description: This occupation requires the laying-out, setting-up, and operation of various types and sizes of drilling and sawing equipment in the cutting and fabrication of sheet metal and extruded parts. It involves the finish-forming and straightening of sheet metal parts after heat treat; the hand forming of sheet metal parts and surface finishing, polishing, descaling and grinding of parts and assemblies. It includes the use of various types of metal cutting saws such as do-all saws, power hack saws, abrasive or circular cutoff saws and band saws for precision and rough cut and saw operations. It involves the setup and operation of various types and sizes of power shears to cut sheet metal stock.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with reading Blueprints.

Experience with Metal Fabrication.

Experience with Hand Tools.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
