Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Mechanics will be responsible for maintaining all machinery within a bottling and packaging environment. Everything is automated with PLCs - the person and Siemens. Currently, there are 5 lines total that the maintenance team will be over. Candidates will be responsible for troubleshooting all equipment and performing maintenance on the machines during changeovers. Machines include packagers, fillers, cappers, labelers, mixers, de-pal and palletizers, the person, and coolers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all machinery within a bottling and packaging environment.

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.

• Perform maintenance on machines during changeovers.

• Work with automated systems using PLCs - the person and Siemens.

• Oversee 5 production lines.

• Maintain and repair various machines including packagers, fillers, cappers, labelers, mixers, de-pal, palletizers, and coolers.

Essential Skills

• Experience with fillers, coolers, packagers, conveyors, motors, Allen Bradley PLCs, gearboxes, ACDC motors, 3-phase motors, electrical systems, and 480v systems.

• Hands-on 220-480v Electrical Mechanical experience in a high-speed beverage facility.

• 3-5 years of experience in Food/Beverage Manufacturing.

• Experience with ammonia refrigeration, air compressors, and boiler systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Krones Fillers, Krones Labelers Contiroll, KHS Packers, Apolo Spirals, Benvco Fillers.

• Infrastructure experience with steam boilers, air compressors, and ammonia systems.

Work Environment

This is a clean facility that is partially climate-controlled. It is a GMP facility, so candidates will be required to wear hair nets, beard nets, and ear plugs at all times.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $69680.00 - $71760.00/yr.
