Lockheed Martin Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) - Cyber Security - Level 4 in Fort Worth, Texas

You will join the Classified Cyber Security team supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) programs to ensure classified information systems meet cyber security requirements and government directives. In this role, you will leverage your technical skills to:

• Interpret the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) in determining technical cyber security requirements, conduct cyber risk assessment activities to include vulnerability analysis, vulnerability mitigation solutions, and ensure proper security implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

• Develop system documentation for information system authorization, security management, and continuous monitoring of both networked and standalone information systems.

• Ensure that selected security controls are implemented and operating as intended during all phases of the IS lifecycle.

• Provide "eyes on glass" security monitoring in accordance with DoD requirements by monitoring security infrastructure and security alarm devices for indicators of compromise utilizing SIEM and cyber security toolsets.

• Perform hardware/software configuration management, data integrity containments and investigations on IA related security events.

• Coordinate with cyber systems security engineers, system architects, and developers to provide oversight in the development of secure technical solutions.

* Participate in implementation of current and future security domains including those which may introduce new service areas (i.e., Cloud Computing, DevSecOps).

* Possess an active DoD Top Secret security clearance based upon a National Agency Check with Local Agency Check (NAC/LC) conducted within the last five years and access eligibility for Special Access Programs. Subject to routine government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information throughout their employment as required by the job.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be a key member of Skunk Works Cyber as an ISSM and will contribute significantly to the security and success of classified information systems within the DoD. Regular training, collaboration, and proactive measures will be essential to meeting the dynamic challenges of the cybersecurity landscape. You will be responsible for:

•Providing hands on technical assistance for complex systems and networks, cyber technology development and implementation, assessing threats and vulnerabilities, and writing and supporting customer needs (meetings, calls, emails, demonstrations, etc.)

•Participating in the planning of current and future security domains including those which may introduce new service areas (e.g. Cloud Computing, DevSecOps)

•Developing system documentation for information system authorization, security management, and continuous monitoring of both networked and standalone classified systems.

•Performing system auditing, vulnerability risk assessments, Assured File Transfers, hardware and software configuration management, data integrity containments and investigations on IA related security violations and incidents.

Basic Qualifications:

* Possess DoD 8570 IAM Level I professional certification (i.e., CompTIA Security+)

* Experience leveraging security tools such as Splunk, QMULOS, Nessus, McAfee, Ivanti, ACAS, etc.

* Experience with implementing or managing cyber security requirements on classified information systems under DoD JSIG, NISPOM, ICD 503, and/or CNSSI 1253.

* Experience with Windows operating systems and Windows domain infrastructure (i.e., Windows Server 2016, 2019, or 2022, Windows 10 or 11, Group Policy Objects, Active Directory, etc.)

Desired Skills:

* Advanced knowledge/experience in the assessment of a comprehensive cybersecurity program to include risk management, reviewing system security plans (SSP's) and associated bodies of evidence (i.e., Win 10 or 11, Server 2016, 2019, 2022, RHEL 8 or 9, etc.), reviewing system/network audits, remediating cyber vulnerabilities and incidents, creating and maintaining SCTMs and POA&Ms

* Experience with configuration management products (i.e., Ansible, SCCM/MECM, Chef, Puppet, Blade Logic, etc.).

* Experience leading a team

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
