Lochridge-Priest Inc HVAC Installers/Apprentices in Fort Worth, Texas

Lochridge-Priest is a family owned and operated company that has served the Central Texas area for over 50 years. Also, we are the largest provider of residential and commercial heating and air-conditioning services as well as plumbing services in Central Texas. We have recently expanded our electrical and building automation service areas. We have our own Engineering team and a sheet metal shop, Advanced Sheet Metal. This position is responsible for providing top quality installation of all HVAC duct and equipment. You will work with a crew to do equipment change outs, new installs, duct replacements, compressor change outs, and splits, etc.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Safety oriented; Always wear proper PPE and comply with all safety standards and processes
  • Must be capable of assisting with all phases of commercial work including the following:

  • set duct hangers, install metal ducts round and rectangular, Flex duct, install Grills, setting equipment etc.

  • Able to follow direction, production minded, team centered.

  • Maintain personal tools to do the task required

  • Assist in Receiving, verifying, Duct, Materials, and equipment delivered for the job.

  • Participate in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies.

  • Be willing to work overtime when needed

  • Be willing to travel outside the DFW on occasion when required.

    Skills

  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to learn with eagerness to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.

  • One or more years’ experience in installation of all HVAC systems and equipment.

  • Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.

  • Take personal responsibility of your work and ensure quality craftsmanship

  • Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Valid social security number

  • Must be able to pass drug test(s) as required by company

  • Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small crawl spaces.

  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules

  • Maintain accurate time records and send to payroll when required

  • Neat, professional appearance
