Grill Cook - Fort Worth, Tx

$16.25/hr - 1st and 2nd Shifts

Job Description

As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing and grilling foods to meet specific customer preferences. In addition to managing grill stations, you will handle tasks in other areas of the kitchen. Your role is crucial in ensuring meal components are prepared timely and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and grill foods according to customer preferences.

  • Keep track of meal prep components to ensure timely completion of final dishes.

  • Chop and prepare vegetables and other non-meat ingredients.

  • Stock ingredients and kitchen supplies.

  • Maintain clean and sanitized workstations.

  • Check perishable ingredients and food items for freshness.

  • Take daily measures to prevent food cross-contamination.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in foodservice, particularly in an industrial grill setting.

  • Ability to determine the correct temperature of food.

  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain a clean workspace.

  • Food preparation and dishwashing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Must have a food handler's card.

  • Knowledge of correct food temperatures when cooked.

  • Must be able to work some weekends.

  • Must be able to work from 7am-3:30pm OR 1pm-10pm.

The pay range for this position is $16.25 - $16.25
