Job Title: Electrical Controls Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team. This role involves creating electrical schematics, troubleshooting, and resolving problems efficiently. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in programming, particularly with PLCs, and a robust expereince in handling various automation components such as HMI, PLC, VFD, AC and DC drives, and motor controllers. A key part of your role will be to select motors for precision and torque, and you will work with XY tables, linear actuators, indexing machines, and drive controls. Experience in robot programming, especially with specific brands, is crucial.

Hard Skills

  • Electrical schematics creation using AutoCAD or similar software

  • Programming Allen Bradley PLC family

  • RSLogix 500 and Studio 5000 Logix

  • HMI, PLC, & VFD troubleshooting & programming

  • AC and DC drives and motor controller experience

  • Motor selection for precision and torque

  • XY tables, linear actuators, indexing machines, and drives controls experience

  • Robot programming (Fanuc, Allen Bradley)

Soft Skills

  • Effective troubleshooting

  • Problem resolution

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

This is a fully on-site position in Fort Worth, Texas.
