HIRING: PER DIEM CNC SET UP MACHINISTS

• CONTRACT LCOATED IN: LAFAYETTE, IN

• 12 MONTH CONTRACT

• $37HR AND $1,050 A WEEK IN PER DIEM

Job Description:

• 7+ years of experience working as a CNC machinist in a past role within a manufacturing environment

• Machines: CNC mills and CNC lathes

• Using lifting devices such as overhead cranes to move large parts. Will use chains and straps to move material

• Cycle times vary from 6mintues to 12 hours depending on the machine they are running. Long cycle times

• Set up, edit and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments

• Fabricating and modifying parts to make or repair tools or machines

• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and quality tools

• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines

• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process

• Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications

• Set controls to regulate machining, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media

Must be able to travel into Lafayette, IN and pay for lodging out of pocket for the first week and a half before receiving per diem.
