Fort Worth, TX company is seeking a Associate Developer to join their team for a contract opportunity.

Leverage the latest technology to solve business problems in a collaborative environment at this Fortune 500 transportation giant. Top technical resources are retained on long-term contract engagements.

Responsible for leveraging cutting edge technology to solve business problems by participating in all phases of the development process from inception through transition, advocating the agile process and test-driven development, using object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test reusable objects, and making the codebase better.

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.

• Experience with Agile methodology and DevOps concepts.

• Experience with Angular, Visual Studio, .NET, and Test Automation.

• Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.

• Possess a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge.

• Ability to analyze problems and implement solutions and/or workarounds.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)

• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization.

• Physical ability necessary to safely and successfully perform the essential functions of the position, with or without any legally required reasonable accommodations that do not pose an undue hardship.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Airline industry experience, including business processes and supporting technology.

• Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps.

• Experience in programming utilizing C#, and TypeScript or similar languages.

• Experience in predictive analytics (especially Azure ML)

• Collaborate with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads and other developers, along with internal customers, to understand needs and develop solutions according to business requirements.

• Maintain and enhance existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development.

• Troubleshoot and debugs issues; identifies and implements solutions.

• Work with software architects to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs.

• Support the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines.

• Research and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance.
