Berry Street | +-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+ | Pay Rate: | $25.5548 - $33.4744 per hour | +-----------------------------------+-----------------------------------+ | Job Description: | SUMMARY | | | | | | Under direction of the Theatre | | | Assistant Manager - Production | | | Lead, incumbent assists groups | | | and/or performers in lighting | | | needs for their performance. The | | | incumbent is expected to exercise | | | good judgment, independence, | | | initiative, and professional | | | expertise in conducting | | | day-to-day operations. All work | | | duties and activities must be | | | performed in accordance with the | | | City safety rules and operating | | | regulations, policies and | | | procedures as well as federal, | | | state, and local regulations. | | | | | | ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND | | | RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the | | | ability to interact with the | | | public, City incumbents, and | | | outside agencies with patience, | | | tact, respect, and | | | professionalism and the | | | following. Other duties may be | | | assigned. | | | | | | - Responsible for lighting | | | operations during | | | performances; | | | - Sets-up, executes, and takes | | | down lighting equipment for | | | all theater events; | | | - Wor s at heights on ladders | | | and personnel lifts; | | | - Climbs straight ladders and | | | negotiates catwalk at heights | | | of 60 feet and above; | | | - Assists Manager in planning | | | lighting needs advancement | | | for events; | | | - Assists in lighting needs of | | | groups/performers for events; | | | - Secures equipment after each | | | event; | | | - Performs general clean-up | | | duties; | | | - Provides excellent customer | | | service. | | | | | | MARGINAL FUNCTIONS | | | | | | - Recommends needed lighting | | | and stage equipment; | | | - Performs other duties as | | | assigned. | | | | | | PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS | | | | | | The incumbent is responsible to | | | manage their performance in | | | accordance with this job | | | description and the performance | | | expectations provided to them by | | | management.
